The Internship Program at Real Life House
Serve. Grow. Welcome. Lead.
THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM AT REAL LIFE HOUSE
Student interns are an important part of the life and ministry of Real Life House. Because they are students themselves, interns have a unique opportunity to welcome other students into the House, build relationships, and help create a place where students feel known, cared for, and at home.
As part of the Real Life House team, interns gain a deeper understanding of the ministry and its mission, meet regularly with ministry leaders and fellow interns, and have opportunities for personal discipleship, leadership development, and hands-on ministry experience. At the same time, interns provide invaluable insight into the lives, needs, questions, and experiences of Anderson University students.
Hosts & Ambassadors
Interns serve as hosts and ambassadors for Real Life House. They help welcome students into the House, introduce them to others, connect them with ministry leaders and opportunities, and cultivate the kind of Christian hospitality that makes room for meaningful relationships and conversations about life, faith, and the gospel.
The internship also gives students a behind-the-scenes opportunity to participate in the ministry of Real Life House. Interns help with hospitality, events, Bible studies, outreach, and the everyday work of creating a place where students can study, gather, ask honest questions, develop meaningful friendships, and grow as followers of Jesus.
More than simply volunteering a few hours each week, the Real Life House internship is an opportunity to grow while serving—to be discipled while learning to disciple others, to develop as a leader, and to partner with us in bringing the transforming power of the gospel to real lives and real struggles.
STIPEND & EXPANDED INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
A stipend is provided for each intern. Depending on the structure and scope of your particular internship, there may also be opportunities to raise additional financial support for an expanded internship involving a greater time commitment, increased ministry responsibility, and deeper involvement in the ongoing work of Real Life House.
